Bonita Lawrence – Algonquin Identity, Nationhood & History in Ontario, and Decolonizing Anti-Racism

 

 

Bonita Lawrence (Mi’kmaw), author, singer, drummer, activist, researcher and Associate Professor at the School of Social Sciences at Atkinson, York University in Indigenous Studies joined us in the Indigenous Waves studio to talk about her recent book, “Fractured Homeland – Federal Recognition and Algonquin Identity in Ontario” as well as her work around decolonizing anti-racism.
