The 13th Annual United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues took place May 20th to the 31st in New York City this year. One of the original Idle No More founders, Sylvia McAdam joined us from the UNPFII to talk about what she was doing there, the forum itself and the current status and future of Idle No More.

Sylvia McAdam is a self described grassroots person and lawyer from Whitefish Lake Reserve in Saskatchewan, and is a co-founder of the Idle No More movement.
