First Story Toronto documenting Indigenous women’s stories of the Red Power movement PLUS Chef Rich Francis returns to update on Top Chef Canada & Indigenous cuisine

The first Indigenous Waves guests on March 24, 2014 are First Story Toronto documentarians Krystine Abel and Cairo Reddick – who discuss the project they have been working on, “Narrating Her Story: Indigenous Women, Memory and Power” examining the Red Power movement through the stories of Indigenous women in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Second up is Chef Rich Francis, who returns with an update on competing on Top Chef Canada, as well as a continued discussion about Indigenous cuisine, local food and fusing cuisines of Turtle Island.
